I went on a Girls Retreat with the high school group a couple of weekends ago. It was a blast! Some of these young women are truly seeking the Lord and really interested in knowing Him. The theme verse of the weekend was Mark 12:28-31 "One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?" 29 "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'" NIV A couple of them would just sit and read the Bible and then talk about the cool stuff they found. One of the sessions was about purity. I had the privilege of talking and praying with one of the girls (who had never been to a retreat before) about some of the things she is struggling with. I am amazed at what girls are dealing with these days. The Lord was definitely moving and working in their hearts. We also got to play in the snow!

Jenn! That is so great! and how fun to play in the snow... I have just been driving in snow... no chance to play yet... can't very well stop on the side of the autobahn to do that....
It was a fabulous weekend! A good time with the girls and with the Lord. Oh, and the food was amazing! Thanks for your wonderful heart for these girls, it is truly an inspiration to me! And thanks for your friendship, its been so much fun working with you these last few months! :)
